Front Page :p

Made it to the front page of WordPress.com. Proof as well! But Wait, it’s April 1st, and I know my blog isn’t that popular, heh. Happy April Fool’s Day.

Editing Is Everything

I mentioned that I wanted to use blogger for this blog, I’ve used it for some time before and was comfortable with it, so I decided to look for any comparisons of Blogger and WordPress.com. I’m sure this is a great comparison but it looks so dull.  Paragraphs, anyone?

This fared a bit better, but I think when I start my real blog I’ll have to go self hosted since I can’t have advertising here. But then again, is that really so? WWD is WordPress.com hosted and has ads. Time to do some investigating.

And yes, I mentioned my real blog. While this blog is, well, my blog, I can’t even tell you what it’s about. I just hope you enjoy reading it, and I must be doing something very right, or wrong to have some RSS subscribers already. (I checked.) More information on that soon, I guess. Not really, it’s just in planning for a while, but I honestly think it’s going to be big. Time will tell.

EDIT: I found what I needed and no way am I doing a money-making blog in wordpress.com until I KNOW I’m making money, people can flop you know!

WordPress.com “FTW”

I was taken aback to find that I had a comment in what must be less than an hour after I decided I was going to start back blogging. I have to say, WordPress.com is nothing like www.blogger.com, it’s not a hosted blogging service, it’s a hosted blogging community. the fact that everyone’s tags are brought together, grouped, so you can “surf” and find interesting posts is great, and I honestly think I would have had to do a lot more to get the same exposure had I gone back to blogger, which I intended to, but couldn’t get it to work!

Kudos to Matt and the rest of the team, I really am enjoying this service. Now if only I’d come up with some actual content other than this pointless drivel it’d be great. You can tell I haven’t blogged for a while because I’m looking for the slightest thing to blog about.
