New Theme, Feeling Alive
I really like this new theme, so I may put it through its paces with some new entries. You know, give the 3 people subscribed a reason to leave what with all the pointless posts that will be made. I lost my header image though, so there is nothing to make this blog look different than anyone else using the theme. I think.
It Is Done
Well, I managed to do it. I managed to finally tell the people that Scopetech is going on hiatus. We’ve had really great growth, but we’re going to take time to just make an overall better site, so it should be fun. What am I going to do in the meantime? How about blog about TV, Internet and me? Yeah, I’ll do that!
I won’t totally be away from blogging though. I will continue to write for UNEASYsilence(subscibe!)
Lookie Who!
I know nobody reads this, which is fine. There is no reason to come back to this blog, there just isn’t any redeeming quality. Content blows, smell is horrendous and I am pretty boring. With that said, let me say what’s new!
Scopetech will be going on a bit of a hiatus and as for now I’m going to keep busy writing for Uneasysilence.com and moderating Rev3’s forums.
That about it. Fun, eh?
Just did a bunch of blogging and came to this on stumbleupon. It was there I called it quits hah.
Also, testing out posting without a title.
How do you deal with depression?
It’s one of those times, you know?
Personal Blog Backlash?
When a blog post is this long on something I don’t care that much about I don’t read it, or read only the beginning. The same happened here, so I just took the title and thought about it on my own. Can your personal blog hurt you down the road?
Scopetech On Techcrunch
Pretty sweet to see Scopetech get a mention on a Techcrunch post.
Tumbling Along
I think having a tumblelog might be viable for people now getting into blogging, but is there a use for it for those of us that have full fledged blogs? Why not use the heavier blog CMS alternatives, like WordPress, just using the features you need? If you don’t have a blog, maybe signing up with tumbl would be cool but what’s the point if you already have a blog? Some may say you need two types of blogging - the big kahuna style blogging that WordPress offers and the on-the-go blogging of stuff like pownce. What do you think?
As a side note, I’m playing around with Drupal, anyone have experience/advice? I also want to know more about Django considering I don’t know html even.
Link Overload
I refuse to read anything there, just look at all those links!
Duck and Cover, it’s A Personal Post!
I may have some faults but I am by no means an evil blogger but I am entering the Most Evil Blogger Contest. I thought it might be cool to go along with a meme from Nick Mercer and take a look at 4 faults of my own.
I’m stubborn - I hate doing new things, I don’t party or go out much which is pretty much by choice. I have no problem doing these things but I pretty much just choose not to and it would take my friends way too much convincing to get me to do stuff. I know what I’m like and I should be less stubborn, no two ways about it. (But it’s so much fun!)
I take on too much - I don’t really turn down helping someone and that sometimes causes conflict. An example being having work to do, not necessarily academic, but opting to help a friend fix something on the computer or with anything else they might need help with. And no, it’s not an attempt at saying “I care too much” but I do take on a bit much at times which could even lead to jobs not being done properly. I think one of the main reasons I do take on too much might be because…
I sometimes think I am the only one that can do something - A major reason for this is that I hate encountering someone that isn’t qualified for something and I encounter it (I’m looking at your, people who serve food). I’m getting better at it, though, that’s why I’m going to step away from Scopetech soon enough - I’ll set it up and let someone else handle it. It should prove interesting.
I’m way impatient - Can you blame me? I just want what I want and I want it now! I’m fully aware when I’m impatient and I don’t know if I really want to change that too much, after all, impatience breeds necessity and necessity is the mother of invention, isn’t it?
